Relive the turbulent late 1880s from three perspectives: pioneer, First Nations and Métis. Artifacts, documents, photographs and art show the ways of life, focusing on the North West Resistance and the stories of the people of the region.
Visit the battlefield where the first shots of the North West Resistance were fired in 1885 about three km west of Duck Lake along Hwy 212. Geocache visitors receive a questionnaire which must be filled out to determine the location of the cache.
The program operates 10 am – 5:30 pm. daily May 21 - Sep 5. Regular admission fees apply.
