Established in 1876 by the North West Mounted Police, Fort Battleford became the refuge for 500 settlers during the North West Resistance of 1885. The settlers had feared an attack from Chief Poundmaker’s Cree.

 

Geocachers must figure out the secret clue given at the visitor centre to determine the coordinates of the cache.

 

Open May long weekend to Sept. long weekend. Regular admission fees apply.
